I love this dichotomy of everyone being stoked for Deadpool while simultaneously destroying madame web. I wouldn't have even heard of Madame web without this thread.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

you know what....im updating this.....

madam web will not gross over 50 million US domestic.....opening weekend will come in under 20 million domestic.....

deadpool 3 will beat madam web's total US domestic monies by end of day friday (assuming it premieres on a thursday)

This reminds me of a story….

When I was in Boy Scouts I would occasionally go to Summer Camps….earn merit badges….make spears out of random sticks….throw anything we could find in the camp fire….good stuff…

Well, occasionally you'd have to take a crap and usually these summer camps were at places decent enough to crap with a roof over your head….one place in particular stands out….

The latrine was massive. Like a 10 seater and it wasn't in a row….more like a combination of rows and columns and honestly I can't remember the exact layout….but we still had our privacy and all that it wasn't like taking a crap in Hotard….

Every once in a while, the latrine would be completely full of teenage boys all taking a crap at the same time….we called this a full board meeting….

That's what we're doing…having a full board meeting of everyone taking a big crap at once on Madam Web….brings back memories…..

I think you could be way high on Madame Web, I don't know if it'll crack 30 mil.

This is one of my top 5 favorite movies and my husband does NOT want to go see Madame Web in theatres. He just doesn't understand.

I think this is cool as hell, and really separates this iteration from the last two. Plus, the sets, the styles, etc could be a ton of fun. Also, by movie's end, it's not like they won't end up in present day anyway, with all the other heroes. There are also rumors that this might not even be *our* 1960s, as it could very well be an alternate universe 1960s, which could be even weirder/more fun.

and I am going to disagree with you.

I think it is trying to be overly "clever" and wasting time instead of just having them be in the present already (even if it is an origin story). It sucked for Captain Marvel, and I do not think it will be doing any favors here.

And yes, they will be in the present day by the end, but that just makes it a retread of CA:TFA.
