Yeah, Deadpool 2 end credit scenes had him travel through time to kill xmen origins wolverine version of Deadpool. He also time travels to kill Ryan Reynolds before he can make the green lantern movie.

I'd be shocked if Erik doesn't nail the basic setup/conceit of the movie here, or at least come super close. Seeing as the vast majority of the trailer is from the first act/half-hour or so, I wouldn't at all say this is spoiler territory - again, it's just his educated guesses - but this all feels so right. And if so, this movie is going to be so fun, and so massive, and have such an impact on things to come...

one thing I think he is wrong about.... I think the dino teeth/jaw we see are a joke reference to Dino-Deadpool. likely a throw-away gag.

Ok, so I finally actually watched the clip (I know it was posted earlier in the thread) and there's no way he's mistakenly thinking she's just randomly asking him if Brave New World is one of Marvel's next films. Especially when the entire follow up/joke is that he's not allowed to say more, heavily implying that he's in it/knows way more. Never mind the fact that so many of these actors aren't even told about the plots for the movies they're not in, at least this early in the game...

Haha I think she definitely knew that reporter was too polite to explain how people were predicting the story writing was terrible and that's why it was being made fun of.

She basically gave the same response to another reporter asking her about nepotism.

Maybe. I'm just kind of shocked that none of the actors spoke up and called out the dialogue for being blatantly terrible. Maybe it's a consequence of the writers strike? I mean how could anyone say that sentence and not think, "Wow, that's ****ed up"?

different people have said difference things at different times.

at best... it is a continuation of the mainline films.

at worst it is either an alternate future or completely divorced from the mainline X-films.

regardless DP3 director Levy has stated it is most DEFINITELY canon to Deadpool 3/the MCU.





Canon in the main timeline or canon in an alternate timeline?

If the former, then we know how the X-Men ends and we are backing into that movie.

Thus, I assume it's the latter.

This is why I hate the multiverse now.

I believe the deal they made with Marvel allows them more leeway in that regard, they just want to cash in on it with fringe spider-man characters that Marvel isn't using.
