Okoye is the badass bald one, right? I want her to be the new BP.C@LAg said:yes, one is his "girlfriend" Nakia and the other is the chick from walking dead who leads the DM, Okoye. And the third is Ayo?bearamedic99 said:
Help me out.
Is the lady with the long hair T'Challa's girlfriend? She looks too old to be Ironheart. And what is she holding? A disc and a necklace? Why?
Last, I wonder why they felt the need to have 2 Dora Milaje on the posters
Love and Thunder kinda has the same problems that Ragnarok has. Theres a weird ass funny movie happening but also a semi-serious normal comic book plot with all the normal superhero themes, serious subject matter, a villain, etc. In Ragnarok these two things are kept mostly separated from each other in the middle of the movie with the more serious stuff happening in Asgard and the most of the goofy stuff happening on Sakaar. In Love and Thunder its very strangely mixed together, they're cracking jokes and then cut to "Jane has cancer" or "Christian Bale kidnapped a bunch of kids." I don't see a huge amount of difference in the humor or my enjoyability of it, but the way the "semi-serious Marvel plot that needs to be in the movie" is blended in wasn't executed as well, and maybe wasn't really a storyline that really fit well with a Taika Waititi type film.Quote:
Finally got around to watching Thor: Love and Thunder the other night. I think just about all of the criticism i read here was justified. A lot of the humor felt forced and out of place. Second half was better than the first. Scene with the kids was really funny. Felt like Natalie Portman kind of phoned it in tbh. Ragnarok was much better and sets the hold standard for Marvel along with GotG.

New format. Not a feature-length movie, but not the first episode of a series either. It's directed by Michael Giacchino, one of the best and most notable TV/film composers of the past couple decades or so. This was his first directorial effort, though, so I imagine Disney didn't completely trust him with a full feature, so they let him do a little one-hour thing instead.
I'm super hyped for this one, if nothing else the art direction looks absolutely stunning.MASAXET said:

Excl: Marvel Studios temporarily shutting down BLADE, which was in pre-production in Atlanta, while it conducts a deep search for a director and further develops the script. https://t.co/EFDZ7VxWuP

Glad Marvel's taking the time to get the script right, since that sounds like it was the problem. With production pushing, I wonder if it could pose a problem for Mahershala's schedule. One industry notable thinks Ali should drop out... and try to be Magneto in the new X-MEN pic. https://t.co/4YndvJBQ1F

‘BLADE’ has been delayed to September 6, 2024.
