Vision Quest looks cool. Also that it's here in two months is nice. A little bit of that WandaVision/Agatha look while also maybe a bit more narrative momentum than either show had. Though I quite enjoyed both.

I love Vision in the comics, he's probably in my top 5, so I really hope they handle him well. Infinity War, sadly, did not, and he was good but secondary in WandaVision.

Friendly Vision recap, in chronological order:

- Vision is created in Age of Ultron, initially by Ultron to be his ultimate body, but the Avengers recover it and finish the build themselves. He's part Jarvis, part Ultron, part mind stone, part Stark and Banner. A unique being who chose to fight for humanity.

- Vision develops a sense of humanity, he and Wanda fall in love, then Vision dies in Infinity War.

- In WandaVision, the government claims Vision's body (its $3 trillion worth of vibranium, after all) and refuses to give him to Wanda. In her grief, her reality-altering powers create an idyllic sitcom life with Wanda and Vision as a married couple, and eventually they have two sons (Billy and Tommy).

- The govt reboots Vision's body ("White Vision", a pale and emotionless Vision) to kill Wanda. Artificial Reality Vision faces off against him. In the end he implants White Vision with his memories, from the time of his birth to his happy memories with Wanda in the false reality, and White Vision flies away to ponder what it all means.

- Wanda shuts down the artificial reality, and "Vision," Billy and Tommy are no more. White Vision (the body of real Vision, or the only Vision at this point) is out there somewhere in the world with memories but no emotional attachment to them.

- Lastly, it's revealed in Agatha All Along that Billy is alive in the real world. Wanda wasn't making hallucinations but actually altering reality. So I guess Tommy will also appear in the real world in this show.

As for how Ultron is back, we don't know yet. Maybe part of Vision's code (like a devil on the shoulder thing), or maybe Vision kept one Ultron drone way back when to converse with or whatever. We shall see!

TLDR: Vision was rebuilt, and recently regained his memories and memories of WandaVision, but never really experienced them per se so he doesn't know who or what he is or what to do with himself.

Alive by jumping his Hex consciousness into the body of someone nearby that had just died.

What happened to Wanda? I'm assuming we haven't seen the last of her?

Is she in Doomsday?

Last we saw of her was kinda offing herself (via collapsed temple) in Doctor Strange 2. But I doubt that's the last we see of her.

It's just a shame, she was at the peak of her popularity, as close to a household name as she'd ever get, with a cool costume, and then she got vilified and "killed" 4 months later in DS2. Cool stuff.

I vaguely remember this stuff now but reading through that summary it's really the most ridiculous story/plot.

Appreciate that summary but it leaves me with one question…

How did the artificial reality Vision and rebooted White Vision actually fight?

If artificial reality Vision was just that, then who was White Vision fighting? If it was discovered in the Agatha show that she was alternating reality and that "artificial Vision" was actually a real person, then who the hell was that?

And now the kids from the show are actually real?

I feel like when this show was pitched this was said early on….

It's been a while since I watched but the things in "the hex" (Wanda's created world) were real and tangible, they just couldn't exist outside that space. So when Vision tries to leave at one point, he begins disintegrating and Wanda expands the range of the hex to save/recapture? him. She's not really aware what she's doing at that point or that she has that level of power, IIRC. It's Agatha that eventually explains to her that she has the power of creation, and she's the Scarlet Witch.

Regarding Billy and Tommy, I'll just spoil Agatha All Along here with the wiki:

Following a battle between Wanda and the witch Agatha Harkness, Wanda dissolves the Westview anomaly, erasing the imaginary existence of Billy. Billy reincarnates upon his "death" in the body of William Kaplan (portrayed by Joe Locke), a 13-year-old from Westview's neighboring town of Eastview, who was killed in a car accident after leaving his bar mitzvah early; stricken with amnesia, Billy then assumes William's identity, unaware of his past life.

Following Wanda's death, Billy's curiosity about the anomaly that occurred the day of his car crash leads him to investigate and learn that Wanda and Vision had children in Westview, one of whom had the same abilities that he has. Realizing his true identity, he becomes determined to find his lost brother. He frees Harkness from a spell placed by Wanda and asks that she take him on the Witches' Road, a magical pathway where one's desires are granted after completing a series of "trials". In the final trial, Billy locates Tommy's soul and places it in the body of a drowning boy. After discovering that the Witches' Road was a myth created by Harkness and that he had willed it into existence, he accepts the mentorship of Harkness, who dies and returns as a ghost, and sets out to search for Tommy.

So Billy has the same chaos magic that Wanda does, and Tommy has super speed like his uncle Pietro.

Is she in Doomsday?

Possibly. There are apparently four Latverian Witches / "Witches of Doom" in Doomsday, and she's rumored to be the one in the brown/orange. Sylvie, the female Loki, might be the green one, Clea (Charlize Theron) might be the purple one, and Doctor Strange might be the silver/metal one (notice the hole for a third eye). That said, other characters are also rumored for those roles, so who knows. Maybe Wanda is one of them, maybe not.

OK, in prep for the next Avengers movie, I decided to look on the Marvel page for all the MCU shows and TV series since I know I haven't watched a lot of the minor movies.

They have the list below, and again, this is from Marvel's website. My question is, why aren't the TV series Agent Carter and Agents of Shield not in there. And while Luke Cage and Daredevil are, Cloak and Dagger is not.

They've had Haley Atwell front and center at two big events promoting Doomsday, even though she's been in about 10 minutes of Marvel in the last 15 years - 2 scenes in Endgame and 3 scenes in Dr. Strange 2.

I have no problems with this because she is super hot, but does it suggest she will have a much larger role in Doomsday?

The Netflix shows got grandfathered in, essentially, but no other TV prior to WandaVision did. Also I really wouldn't count What If? since it's animated, alternate dimension and frankly not that great (though I only did S1).

Also never, ever watch Secret Invasion.

I'm assuming there will be quite a bit with her and Steve reunited in the past leading to his return to the present.

I think it's just a lazy "these characters are in it". If it weren't for Nightcrawler, I wonder if X2 would even be on the list.
