That was actually really funny. It also made me wonder if George Lucas didn't create JarJar as an incredibly annoying moron purely for the sake of having him propose the Senate resolution that gave Palpatine emergency powers and ultimately destroyed the Republic. What a great way to show that it's the well intentioned, yet stupid and easily manipulated who ultimately surrender power to despots, right? Was he really paying the long game like that?

Big news/rumors flying about Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew this week.

I'll spoiler tag the appropriates if you're trying to go in pure.

Sounds like Skeleton Crew might have a Lost in Space vibe where Jude Law's character rescues the Padawans and they try to escape Order 66 only to end up in unknown space.

There is a strong implication that Ahsoka Tano has an appearance in Skeleton Crew.

Lars MIkkelsen, who played Thrawn's voice on Rebels, is playing him on Ahsoka.

Thrawn and Ezra Bridger wind up in the unknown regions, as implied at the end of Rebels, and some of Ahsoka takes place there.

The smokeshow actress Ivanna Sakhno, originally thought to be playing Hera Syndulla, is now rumored to be name Astrid and she is a Night Sister of Dathomir, who possible has been redeemed and referred to as a Light Sister

Diana Lee Inosanto who played the Magistrate with the Beskar spear on Mando Season 2 has been cast in Ahsoka.

All of that makes me happy. When does that begin production?

I think Skeleton Crew is done filming, while Ahsoka and The Acolyte are currently filming. The latter just started filming, though the former should be on the tail end, if not super close to wrapping.

I didn't realize we were that close to getting post production and shows. I hope they're half as good as andor.

Yeah, 2023 will see The Mandalorian S3, Skeleton Crew, and Ahsoka, while The Acolyte will either be late, late 2023 or early 2024. I'd say almost assuredly 2024, though, along with Andor S2.

I have no idea when I would ever play video games and I'm not spending $500 to get a current system just to play one game but I hate the fact that I've never played fallen order or this new game. Maybe before this generation of consoles is over my kids will ask for one.

Its worth it.

Story of the trailer looked kind of meh compared to the original game. Feel like they're slowly boxing themselves in to what this guy can actually accomplish in the timeline he is in.

The Acolyte is filming on location at a place called Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales. Bespin Bulletin snagged some set pics, including a carbon-based lifeform most commonly known as a human performing the job of acting at a location that appears to exist on Planet Earth.

Wasn't there some huge disagreement regarding set photos recently? What's the protocol. Allowed in this generic thread but not the show threads?
