After reading through the list of quotes each round, this tournament has really made me appreciate the awfulness of this collection of bureaucratic technobabble
So my next idea would have sort of a "Tournament of Champions" feel with the theme being - best Star Wars moments. Instead of one giant field, we'd do a smaller tournament for each of the 11 movies (9 episodes, plus Rogue One and Solo) which each would have a field of 16 best moments.
My definition of a moment would be 30 seconds or less on screen that are your favorite. So the Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan/Maul duel would not qualify as whole, but the part where Maul first exposes the double-blade would count, or the part where Obi-Wan kills him (but not really).
Similarly - the Rebel attack on the Death Star is too long, but the moment Luke blows it up or the moment Han saves the day in the Falcon does.
To make sure I don't miss any that really deserve to be in the field, I'd open it up for a week of nominations - one day the OT, one day the PT, one day the ST, one day the Star Wars stories. Not saying I'll use every nominee, but it will at least give everyone a chance for their 2 cents and ensure I'm a lot less likely to miss anything.
A 12th field would be dedicated to the animated stuff - Clone Wars and Rebels. I did not watch Resistance, but I'm certainly open to suggestions from it, and from the original Clone Wars micro-cartoons as well.
The 2 finalists from each region would get a spot in the Tournament of Champions. That would make 24 entries. Then bump it up to a field of 32 with next 8 next entries that the highest percentage of votes received in their own brackets. That would make a field of 32 for the Tournament of Champions that would then proceed with head to head 24-hour windows like we've been doing.
It's pretty involved, but it's also Star Wars and we're nothing if not meticulous. In fact that would have been a good alternate line for Sidious in ROTS "We must move quickly. The Jedi are meticulous!"
Hopefully, there's interest. If so, I'll start taking nominations for the OT tomorrow.

This is my favorite moment in the entire franchise. I realize people love binary sunset, but this is the moment for Luke.
