at the 6-hour mark, there are 3 matchups in a dead heat and 3 more separated by 2 votes.

In hindsight, I wish i would have had 64 with 2 OT regions, 1 for the prequels, and 1 for the sequels because I'm really curious what the best prequel and sequel vote-getters would have been. Maybe next time.

Going to cap tonight's voting at midnight. Next round I'll bust out the gifs. 3-4 matchups still hovering around 51%-49%, meanwhile Grand Master Yoda is single-handedly willing the prequels into the Sweet 16.

Kenobi Leads Charge to Never Quote Me the Odds Sweet 16 with 4 Entries Left

Obi-Wan Kenobi, the only character from the OT to not suck to some degree in the prequels, came up with 4 winners in the Round of 32 Thursday, giving him a full 25% of Friday's Sweet 16 entries.
"In my experience, there's no such thing as luck,' said Kenobi, who crammed all four of his entries into one movie.
Darth Vader, available in sun-tanned Tatooine mode or Mustafar extra-crispy, is one of three characters to have three entries, along with his estranged daughter Princess Leia, and Jedi Master Yoda. While I was writing that sentence I got to thinking - yes, Yoda agreed to honor Qui-Gon's dying wish to have Anakin trained as a Jedi, but if you did that - considering how old homeboy already was and that his midichlorian count was off the charts - why wouldn't Yoda train Anakin himself? And that reminds me of a joke about the midichlorian counter a buddy and I used to make, which was after Obi-Wan tells Qui-Gon on the comlink that Anakin has more than 20,000 whatevers of midichlorian, he then hangs up, then realizes he had the sample in upside down, and Anakin has zero midichlorians, but then he doesn't want to tell Qui-Gon he screwed up.
And what's the deal with Qui-Gon randomly poking Anakin with a needle, that's some creepy behavior. Bad news, Ani, you have childhood diabetes.

Anyway, we can pretty much agree that the Sweet 16 is comprised of the trilogy's six best characters: Vader, Old Ben, Han, Yoda, Luke, and Princess Leia, along with Admiral Fishface. Here's the results:
