Yeah, good point.
I love this movie and I couldn't care less what anyone thinks. ROTS is greatness. Cheese and all. Watched it with my pregnant wife. I think she fell asleep at least twice and got pissed when I kept waking her up. I could not sit back and let her miss such cinematic joy.redline248 said:
I'm watching Revenge of the Sith. That movie, with it's cartoony effects and bad acting, is 10x better than Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker.

With 22 minutes left in the contest and with 116 vote cast, there are somehow THREE ties right now. Somebody go vote, or vote again, so I don't have to Execute Order 96 - I decide who wins.

Quote:
#7 "Apology accepted, Captain Needa." 91.4%
#26 "You will need someone you can trust. / I would trust her with my life." 8.6%
Toughest matchup right there.Quote:
#7 " These aren't the droids you're looking for." Obi-Wan Kenobi, ANH vs. #10 "Never tell me the odds!", Han Solo, ESB
I voted for the Bail Organa / Mon Mothma line. Considering how close it was to the proximity of Carrie Fisher's untimely passing, that lined really chokes me up. Jimmy Smits delivers it with such conviction about a character he's never actually worked with other than the baby scene at the end of ROTS.Urban Ag said:Quote:

This should have a 100% response rate. Period. Come on people. I don't even know which of the new movies the other quote is from. Captain Needa done failed Lord Vader too many times. This is known.

Love it as well. That scene really ties together the PQ, OT, and RO.

#20 "I am the Senate." 29.3%
Except that I regularly have used the phrase 'delusions of grandeur' since first hearing it in 1980. I don't recall ever using the I am the Senate line in regular conversation.Brian Earl Spilner said:It's treason, then.Quote:

I don't even remember the senate line being said, and certainly have never heard anyone quote it before this contest.
Meanwhile, my friends and I use "I am the Senate" (or some other form of it) all the time.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:Except that I regularly have used the phrase 'delusions of grandeur' since first hearing it in 1980. Looks like I could be a jedi if the only requirement was to stand and not defend yourself...man those 3 were worthless (and that fight scene is just awful)Cinco Ranch Aggie said:said:Cinco Ranch Aggie said:Except that I regularly have used the phrase 'delusions of grandeur' since first hearing it in 1980.
