That Light of the Jedi cover is the first time i've ever looked at star wars and thought high fantasy. I haven't read anything EU since the mid 90s, but if they can use SW to tickle me a Cosmere itch then I'm jumping back in.

Seems like it. This looks to be the new era for the next number of years, closing the book on the Resistance Era as the primary focus for new stories.

Good for Ron Howard. Jake Lloyd's had a tough life after Star Wars, probably a lot of it came from that kind of hate.

Interesting note: TROS did pass RO globally, but is still trailing domestic by $18 MM. Pretty much not going to pass it on this release.
I did read some things about here "taking an early retirement" but I didn't post them here because I didn't know how reliable of sources they were.
So, who knows. Only reason I made that call is because of how it seems from the outside things were bungled pretty badly. She does have a pretty awesome resume to her name, so I can see Disney and her agreeing to ride out on a sunset kind of deal.

This. It's not the kid's fault the movie was bad.
We'll see how good any of those authors involved with The High Republic are.
