This is so bad ass.

Vic Mahoney, our writer on Dawn - the sci-fi series I'm producing with Ava DuVernary - will be second unit directing Episode IX.

Vic is simultaneously doing post on Red Line, a pilot she just directed, while also doing a final pass on our pilot and finishing up the story bible for the series.

After that, she's off to a galaxy far, far away.

Vic is one of the hardest working people in Hollywood and no one deserves this opportunity more...

Yes. It's a 20 player game starting with 2 Ewoks and 18 Stormtroopers. The Stormtroopers can kill the Ewoks, but if a Stormtrooper is killed, they respawn as an Ewok. Goal is to survive 5 minutes as a Stormtrooper and make it to the extraction point. If you become an Ewok, goal is to kill all the Stormtroopers.

Unfortunately, there are no AT-STs and you can't roll the logs downhill. However, you can jump from the bridges in the trees and attack the Stormtroopers with your spear.

I hate to argue about Ewoks and ROTJ again, but you know what really bothers me the most about the Ewoks? How come the Empire didn't wipe them the **** out or enslave them in some manner when they showed up on Endor?

This actually sounds like a lot of fun.

If the Ewoks do win, do they get to play the drums with the troopers' helmets?

I am not sure about how I feel about them continuing to use characters from old canon in new ways. I liked the Thrawn book, his use in Rebels and I am looking forward to the book this summer.

However, Mara doesn't seem as easy to pull out of old canon and use differently. If it needed to be dropped, why not give us some new characters? Plus it will make my wife mad, she was already upset that they felt the need to make Han and Leia's bad kid named Ben.
