I actually like the idea of a kind of Smokey and the Bandit tale, say Han doing some illegal smuggling op for the Hutts or something and getting caught up with the law (in this case the Empire, although I'm not sure the Empire would have a Sheriff Buford T Justice type of character)

Maybe it reveals the story behind why he had to "dump his cargo at the first sign of an imperial starship" and we find out more details as to why Jabba was after him in the first place.
Or maybe he'll do the Kessel run in 14 parsecs, then lie to everybody and say he did it in 12.

I'm only worried about their voices. Both Billy Dee Williams and Harrison Ford have very unique and instantly recognizable voices. Much like when a band gets a new front man, you can tell the difference and, for some bands, it completely ruins their sound.TCTTS said:

Glover will no doubt knock the performance out of the park, and I think Ehrenreich will definitely be up to the task as well, but Han Solo always had the appearance of a taller guy to me. Ford is 6'1" where as Ehrenreich is only 5'9". And Billy Dee Williams is 6'0" where as Glover is 5'10". Granted, we're literally talking about a few small inches here, and there is obviously plenty of movie magic that can be done to make these guys appear taller. I guess my main worry is it coming across like Ehrenreich and Glover are playing dress up. Like normal dudes wearing Han and Lando Halloween costumes or something. I'm sure it'll be fine, and if that's my only reservation at this point, they're definitely doing something right so far.
With make-up and other traditional stage craft, I think the appearance of the actors shouldn't be that hard to pull off.

Yep, have to agree with the aforementioned FMK. Not a tough answer for me, but mostly due to Daisy being adorable and sweet more than Felicity being crazy. Is she really? I haven't seen much about that.
