In Episode III he dons the same suit he wears for all of the OT. I doubt he changed it in between.

They could also do like the Clone Wars show and have the blaring star wars logo in yellow but without an extended crawl and transition to blue text before cutting into exposition or sometimes straight in to the action. (more likely/accurate would be the blue text with "a long time ago..." first after the lucasfilm logo)

Yeah I know. I'm just saying it'd be a potential way to variate to retain the familiarity of Star Wars while keeping the extended crawl solely for the Episode movies. Instead of the clone wars narrator the exposition could just be done via Felicity Jones doing a voice over recalling recent events or cutting into a conversation that would set where we are.

I hope there will be a crawl and if I had to guess I'd say there will be one, but it's just that: a guess. The purpose of te crawls is to mimic the serials GL loved growing up, so it makes sense to have a crawl establishing time and place and how things relate to the other stories

FWIW, Currently, all the comics I've seen contain crawls

I think you have to. The fact that this is taking place outside the saga storyline necessitates it for the average person. It would be less necessary for the crawl to happen in Episode 8 than it would be for this movie.

Pretty excited to have the Empire back for this movie. Their cold logic of lawful fascism is more menacing than the "me too" nature of the new baddies.

That uniform on the ISB looks incredible.

I'd love to see a planet being destroyed from the perspective of the planet. We got a glimpse of that in TFA, but it was jumping around between several planets and didn't focus on just one.

OnlyForNow: In the teaser, they mention the weapon is getting ready to test. I would assume Alderaan wasn't the first planet to be blown up. Maybe they tested it on a lifeless planet before ANH.

The guys on Collider mentioned how Gareth Edwards does a really good job of showing scale in his films, especially Godzilla.

He nailed it as far as showing how massive the Death Star really is.
