I wonder if all of the presales hype is going to back fire at the expected numbers... (please forgive if this has already been addressed)... I was not up for fighting the crowds for opening night with the fam... and when I didn't buy any tickets when they first came available, I heard STAR WARS is SOLD OUT for weeks... So I was expecting to wait till the hype died down to take mrs gravy and the gravy kids to see it

but I thought i'd check to see if there were shows that weren't sold out. Turns out, as of yesterday, I could still buy tickets to an opening night showing at 8pm at my local cinemark... but the 7:30pm showing was sold out.

Friday at my local cinemark, there were 19 showtimes between regular and 3-D screens... as of yesterday, only the 7:30pm showtime was sold out.

So... what does SOLD OUT mean? Were tickets only sold out for like one show a day... and then many more screens were added, but not presold?

I have talked to a handful of people who didn't buy tickets yet, and also assumed that it was impossible to think about going for a week or so.

I think they added showings.
