I loved Rogue Leader for GC, and Episode I Racer for N64.
quote:Dont forget the galactic civil war. One of the experiences I remember most was only days after I started playing:
I kind of forgot about Galaxies because it wasn't your traditional game. But you're right, it was amazing before they effed it up. I was 29 and single when it came out, I can't even estimate how many hours I spent running around town as a Wookiee in a purple chef hat - a smuggler with nothing to smuggle and a merchant with credits ranging into the billions, but nothing to do with them.
I could write a dissertation on what I wish Galaxies would have been, but a lot of the battles I fought in, the Krayt Dragon hunts, the first days of Mounts and of vehicles and starships, and the wonder of it all, was great.

The final edit of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is complete and has a running time of 2 hours and 15 minutes. Picture was locked on November 3rd 2015 at midnight, but JJ Abrams and crew will be spending the next few weeks finalizing the film's visual effects, sound effects and a final scoring session with composer John Williams.

As we know, there is a scene where Rey flies the Millennium Falcon as seen in the trailers. After they shot that scene, there is another sequence where Rey and Han fly it together. Daisy Ridley has a funny story about it: "I went to get into the pilot seat and he was like 'that's mine'. I was genuinely mortified and JJ was sitting there like 'Oh my god.'"

because we all wondered about SJW issues like this....
Meanwhile, Slashfilm spotted the film's creature shop head Neal Scanlan addressing the gender issue around balldroid BB-8 with EW in a print magazine article. "BB-8 was female in our eyes. And then she became male," he said. "And that's all part of the evolution, not only visually, but in the way they move, how they hold themselves." He also admitted that he wasn't one hundred percent sure that shift to male remained. While still a curious point to address, Star Wars droids do seem to be male by default, so a female droid at least in terms of personality or voice would be a deliberate choice.

I love the back-to-back "I can do this" from Finn and Rey in the different parts of the Falcon. Little touches like that get me just excited as many of the visuals.
That said, it's now confirmed that Finn and Rey initially pilot the Falcon sans Han & Chewie in that chase on Jakku. I really, really hope it's not just a convenient coincidence that they just so happen upon the Falcon (which presumably belongs to someone else now) and then just so happen upon Han and Chewie shortly after. Surely there's a reasonable explanation.
