Pretty much. The part of the trailer with Rey seemingly watching the ship take off in the distance seems to mirror Luke's looking out over the suns setting, so possibly that bit of the story to a degree that it seems almost intentionally done that way.

The real back story here is what happened to muck it all up.

that is incredible, a tribute to the cutting of the trailer that we can follow it just as easily. without sound though, it looks like a much more Finn centered movie. like they are trying to find him and he joins up to fight.
