Oh, man. Just seeing blurry Episode VII pre-production art work gets me pumped beyond belief...

Millenium Falcon. [Possibly] Tatooine.
Pants. Getting. Tighter.

The force is strong with this one.

That looks like waterfalls in the photo to the right.

edit: It's probably a pic of the Grand Canyon just to screw with everyone.

2nd edit: larger version of photo (I think)

Great find, I love concept art.

Wonder if we might see them revisit Naboo or other places from the prequel trilogy that we never heard much (if anything) about during the original trilogy?

Naboo would be pretty sweet. Even if you hated TPM, that was an amazing location.

Just hope we at least see Tatooine, for old times sake. And it would be cool to see some of the lower, dirty parts of Coruscant. Some of the "grittier" areas.

Didn't we already see that in Ep 2?

Yes, a bit of it. I thought it was pretty sweet. More of that would be cool. Perhaps more noir-y, Blade Runner-y.

Meh. It's star wars not lower city street wars.

Some art from the cancelled Star Wars 1313 game. (Sorry for the sizes)

You're right, just think it would be cool to see these different areas of the Star Wars galaxy you wouldn't necessarily expect to see. And it would be in line with what Lucas had in mind when he created the franchise to begin with. (A dirty, "lived-in" world, not clean and cold like a lot of sci-fi tends to be.)

It could potentially be a cool setting for one of the SW spinoffs. (Boba Fett movie maybe?)

Troy Barnes - Why do you call it Star Trek when you never visit a star?

1313 had SO much potential to be an amazing game, disappointing.

I don't know that we'll see much of it in the new trilogy, but I definitely expect some of that world to be explored in a standalone film.

I see Beggar's Canyon in the photo on the right. And it looks like R2 is reflected in his glasses.
The small pics are:
might be someone in the Genosis arena (Kit Fisto?)
X-wing pilot in the cockpit (Luke?)
Dooku shooting lightening in ep.2, pic above that kinda looks like the emperor's lightening from Jedi
2 pics of Alec Guinness

also, that's Luke on Dagobah on the TV screen

Slightly OT, but still Star Wars related:

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Star-Wars-Rebels-Ezra-1077773.aspx

Star Wars Rebels is apparently set to bridge the gap between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

This could be Tatooine or it could be a new planet. I'd like to think it's the former because those rocks don't seem nearly sun-baked enough to hide womp rats, much less the nomadic tribes of Sand People. But based on evidence further down the line, it's just as likely to be a bird's eye view of Beggar's Canyon.

Methinks someone doesn't know the definition of the word 'former'

After reading that, I don't think any of those photos have anything to do with the new movie.

Then again, it's obvious that photo has been retouched. As if someone quickly took some kind of light black mask / spray paint tool over the artwork. Especially since it bleeds onto that concrete column in front in a couple of places. So they're obviously hiding something.

I think they are mostly old pictures that they might be using again for visual cues, etc. Or just as a kind of reminder of some type of style they want to achieve again.

But they are smart people and realize that if people recognize that, then they won't bother discussing it. Make the pictures a little harder to see, where just enough is visible for people to speculate, and you get free early PR in the form of people writing articles like that just by updating a cover photo.

That was one of the better written stories in Tales from Jabba's Palace.

I would put my money on either Boba Fett or Darth Maul returning at some point in the new trilogy. Both are fan favorites that I think most people would like to see back.

On the other hand, if handled the wrong way, they could ruin their characters by taking away their mysterious nature.

Why would Maul return after so many years when there was no mention of him in 2-6.

In the Star Wars Clone Wars cartoon... Darth Maul does get some new robot legs and comes back... so there is that

Revenge. Does the EU mention how long that race tends to live?
