Let us not dwell on the silly debates and arguments today. Today is a day to celebrate all the things we love about Star Wars without ridicule...even if that thing is Jar Jar and sand.

So here is my contribution to kick things off:

The best ending reaction to my all time favorite Star Wars movie to date. Most of us have seen this girls reaction already but if not...trust me...you will enjoy. Not sure if she's been wifed yet but if so...congratulations to that man! You found a unicorn.

Even more importantly, if you haven't seen Rogue One, DO NOT WATCH THIS CLIP. Instead do yourself a solid and see this movie today.

Also, apparently this girl was away on a mission trip or something which is why she didn't see it in theaters when it came out. This also isn't the original upload. I think the original got deleted cause it was easily over 40 million views at one point.

A few things:

Do we need titles before each individuals surname in this article? Holy crap!
I'm glad Solo is moving away from the Guardians style that it apparently resembled - bad fit, imo.
Lucasfilm has to be really nervous about this one. I don't understand the estimates that are out there for this film.

Article back in March said that Howard used the same sets, but not the complete sets. The assumption being that he wasn't shooting as many wide angle shots. Also, I think most of the reshoots were at Pinewood, so I assume that means quite a bit of CGI.

So in the current canon, that puts it after the Aftermath books and 5 years after Last Shot, and 17 years before Bloodline. In that timeframe, for reference:
- The Imperial remnant is gone, fled to the Unknown Regions
- Leia is a senator and the NR is trying to find its footing and legitimacy
- Ben Solo is 6 years old and not yet training
- Han and Leia are still together. Han isn't in the NR military but I'm not sure what he's doing. I don't think he is off running his racing team yet.
- Luke is, I believe, still gathering information about the Jedi and hasn't taken any apprentices.

It's a good place for a series because it's pretty much a blank slate. The NR is still more an idea than a practical government.

Have they mentioned at all how closely related the tv show will be to the Skywalkers or the Saga? I guess I was picturing something unrelated, but with that time frame, hard to imagine it not leaning on that storyline.

Well, it says entirely new cast and characters. I assume that means they could be mentioned, but it's taking place in another area of the universe I suppose.

Which system does Leia represent in the Senate? Alderaan doesn't still have a seat, does it?

The Alderran remnant, I think. It's kinda fuzzy in Bloodlines.
