I think it's because he feels he's being held down by Chalky and it's time get "his own" now. Chalky basically has him as a bus boy.

Chalky and Purnsley aren't friends; they've said as much (remember how they met in jail?). I think Purnsley beating the crap out of the guy on the steps was just him proving himself to Dr Narcisse

Yeah I knew that was happening because I knew the history of the Capone brothers so I was ready for that the whole episode. Pretty cool to watch it like that.

You could see it coming for Eddie. Its a shame, I liked him.

He was introduced as a probation officer. The assistant to that guy that was shot, who was in a lot of episodes before that.

The handkerchief part had me confused too.

Eli and Micky know the FBI agent from one of the first eps this season when he came in with the previous guy that took a booby trap shotgun to the chest. They just assume he's on the take like everyone else. The badge thing was just for Eli to use against the bank.

Micky Doyle is becoming a favorite character of mine on this show. Hated him the first couple of seasons but now he's hilarious.

Show is getting boring. Just like last season, they are focusing on all the pointless, boring side characters.

Agreed. Why on Gods green earth would you not see there are better stories to develop.

Rothstein is pumping money into the Anaconda Realty Trust. I feel like this is connected to Tampa somehow. Lansky needed extra cash once Lucky backed out. It's not inconceivable that he asked Arnold for help. (I am not pleased that they used this as a plot device to bring Margaret back into the show.)

Narcisse is expanding his reach. He does a nice job of using his Negro Improvement League as a front for heroin distribution. Chalky has not realized yet that his power base is eroding.

I dont give a **** about narcisse or the negro improvement league. Its boring. More mobster **** please.

Every show I watch is boring me this year. Boardwalk, SOA, Homeland. Hurry up GoT, Justified and The Americans!

On another note the preview for the Woody Harrelson and Matthew McCounaghy show looks very good.

Im into every storyline this year.

Although Marge isnt my favorite character the addition of AR has me interested.

I want to see more Capone and Richard but i dont see how you can say Dr Narcisse isnt a stone cold gangster. He is doing more gangster stuff than Chalkey. Right now Chalkey is my powerdown.

I dont care about his lovelife one bit.

I really want to know what skeletons Roy Phillips has in his closet. Im sure it will be off the wall...
