But I'm happy there's a number of strategic players around. You can recognize the smart ones in the young tribe- they didn't say much at tribal last night.

The black racist chick has got to go. I can't watch the show if she is on it, can you imagine if the roles were reversed? Plays right into my #1 pet peeve, reverse racism.

Unfortunately there aren't many likeable characters on this season. I feel like this might be the Survivor way of jumping the shark. Last night's episode was like a Mad TV skit, so many stereotypes (John Rocker/ Shannon, Spiccoli/Fabio, Noki/militant black woman, Chase/Gullable farm boy.....)

It usually takes a while for the cream to rise to the top but it might be a while before there are legit Survvor players in this cast.

I caught tribal council last night and that black chick is enough for me not to watch.

Shannon did a good job of getting anyone who wasn't sure if they should vote for him to vote for him at tribal... granted most votes were prolly set anyway... but why call out chase... and why ask the dude if he's ghey right there and then claim NY is gheyer than Louisiana... and why get into to a pissing match with the suspected ghey dude about who has had more hot girls...

I dont know who to pull for yet but I'm sure not going to pull for the guy who only picked his alliance based on race. What a moron. If you listened to Jeff's insight on each Survivor before the season he said that Sash couldn't stop bringing up where he was from and how he had a tougher life than all of them. I've got no problem in being proud of where you are from and your heritage but this guy just sucks.

I think that the girls are pretty strong this season and if the older guys can get over their jealousy of Jimmy and who is is I think they will go far. A team needs a leader and until the merge I'd take advantage of Jimmy and his abilities also as he continues to pull his weight.

I know that they have some pretty stereotypical people but they also went away from a bunch of T & A and picked some people that will (at least I hope) play the game.

I also really like the addition of the medallion because it adds another level of strategy to the game.

Shannon aired all of their dirty laundry and I have to think that he wanted to go home otherwise why would he say the things he said? Idiot and Im glad hes gone.

The 2 Kellys and Alina need to stick together because they will go far

After this week's meltdown, it would be much more entertaining if the pulled the "swap-a-tribe-member" maneuver and put JJ on Team Abercrombie.

Sorry..haven't been hanging on every word...unfortunately having to do some work at the same time it's been on the last two weeks....I never heard why the hate, just caught a bit of her stealing the shoes.
Probably should of possed it as a question to those of you with rapt attention to the screen.

Wow, the jealousy among the men on the older tribe towards Jimmy Johnson is just ridiculous. So far, he's the only one in the whole cast, younger or older, that I can stand at this point, besides the chick with one leg. If he goes, I guess I'll be rooting for her only and more or less rooting against everyone else. Maybe its just a result of coming after an all-star season that had so many dynamic personalities, but the cast of this season seems like a letdown so far.

There aren't even any good "villains" - ones that are fun to root against and you actually hope will stick around because of the dynamic they bring. All of the "villains" this time are just plain annoying and unbearable - Marty's an insecure ******bag, and I actually find myself wishing something painful would happen to the black chick.

Wow, the old farts are tarded. JJ was the best thing going for that tribe. The black guy might be the only other one with his head on straight.

Hated to see Jimmy Johnson voted off. It should be interesting to see who becomes the 'leader' now - Jimmy T. or Marty. Don't know if I can stand Naonka much longer...she needs to go!

This is the first season where there are multiple people I want gone now. Like someone said above, I'm rooting against more players than Im interested in.

I can't stand Naonka. She makes me want to throw things at my brand new TV. Every time she opens her mouth I want to punch her. Especially when she was talking about Kelly B. and "knocking her leg off." Maybe I'm just a fan of Kelly B. anyway, but I've never gotten the impression that she's trying to garner sympathy for her condition. She has actually kept fairly quiet about it, and I admire that.

To summarize, Naonka is trash, and Jimmy T. made me giggle with his "I'm good at stuff, put me in coach!" speech.

And you notice she is a PE Teacher!! I think she missed some of those classes on recognizing "bullying". If she was a teacher in our district, let alone our school, I would lead the charge to have anyone that acts that way and sets that kind of example removed. Stay classy!!

Marty doesn’t understand Survivor 1/10th as well as he thinks he does. Never has. Here’s my dilemma. Naonka’s argument is simple: “It’s a game. I should use anything to my advantage and I did. Tough beans that Kelly B has an artificial leg. Not my problem.” I can’t argue against that. She’s right. Technically.

But man, my gut turned when I saw the scene. Keep in mind I do not watch tape on location so I had no idea this had gone down and how physical it got between Naonka and Kelly B.

Had I known, I’m not sure if I could have contained myself the next time I saw Naonka. Okay that’s a lie. Of course I could have contained myself, but I certainly would have looked at Naonka a bit differently.

When Jimmy was talking to Marty out in the ocean he was talking like he was already gone. Saying you and not we.

Jimmy was great on the show - too bad he's gone. I think he just realized his number was up; I doubt he wanted to go.
And Na is awful. Sometimes villains are worth watching (Russell) but she doesn't have his charm.

JJ was going early all along, but he's not a deal breaker for their team. They aren't going to win this thing anyhow unless Survivor has rigged some contest to be less atlehtic. But, JJ was only going to help them in the "mind" department anyhow. It was a silly vote because there were others who had no more abilties than JJ had, but it was an ego problem for most of the guys.

JJ was the perfect person to put in a leadership role. He's a great leader and motivator, and isn't a threat to anyone. You let him lead, and when you don't need his leadership anymore, you let him go. Sadly, the older tribe has a loud-mouth dbag in Marty, who really has no clue how to play Survivor. Probst is right, he's going to lead the older tribe to the slaughter, and there will only be one left standing at the merge.

For as much as Jimmy T talked about people looking to Jimmy J too much he sure was actiong like the 2nd string playing begging the coach to give him a shot

It's been amusing to listen to Marty talk strategy like he's got it all figured out, when in reality it's extremely far out-of-whack. This team is in a position to get its ass kicked in challenges, and while Jimmy is the oldest, he was manning up pretty well physically in the challenges and providing needed leadership from a mental aspect. Instead, Marty is already playing end game strategy and his tribe is going to get its ass kicked for it.

I think that is what we have been seeing all along this season...

challenge 1: pour water down some troughs and solve a puzzle
challenge 2: go in some mud, find a ball in some hay, pass it down the line into the bucket
challenge 3: go get some barrels and toss a bean bag

none of these required much athletic ability...the youngins won by being better at a puzzle and tossing a bean bag...
