And then she finds out the reason why he's doing it is to set his family up for life after his cancer. That may not excuse his actions and you can't blame her for taking the moral high ground. But then to revenge schlep her boss, who is also a criminal, makes her a hypocrite

She's a flawed character. They all are.

How about an episode centered around Walt and Jesse taking Walter Jr. to that strip club

then walks in Hank who forgives Jesse and buys him a lapdance

Finally caught the last two episodes yesterday. Can't really say much that hasn't been mentioned, but WOW.

Did the twins show Hank the sketch of Walt before they shot him?

Solid episode. I did think the driving into oncoming traffic was out of character for Walt though. Not that he wouldn't consider suicide but that he'd do it in such a way that it could hurt someone he'd still consider innocent.

Jesse however is greatness right now. His description of his corporate job and then deciding his support group is a great place to drum up business show him continuing down his acceptance of being the bad guy.

I will say I'm kind of wondering where they are heading for the finale with only 4 more episodes for the season. I still trust these writers but there's not much time left and the season has been so solid I'm hoping for a great season finale and cliffhanger too.

Wonder how Jesse's skimming off the top will pan out. I'd imagine Walt is the only one who could really catch him, unless he goes from thirds of pounds to whole pounds and what not.

I guess i missed\not understand Gus's offer and then Walter's reaction. someone?

Gus offered him $15MM a year, open-ended to keep working.

I think exactly what Walt was thinking is open to interpretation, but I think he was struggling with continuing to be a "bad guy" by staying in the cooking game and decided he'd see if he could end it.

does anyone else kind of agree with Jesse that Gus is screwing them?

I wish I were smart enough to word that in a way that doesn't make it sound like I'm agreeing with a fictional character

but the big deal of last night's was the gambling story fabricated by Skyler. bout time Walt got some of his own medicine.

i almost guarantee marie lets that one out of the bag to hank at some point in the future. maybe not, that might be kind of weak as far as storyline goes, but could be an entertaining minor tangent.

Im also guessing that Hank was faking the feeling in his legs to give everyone hope....

Gus set up the lab, he (probably) brings in all the raw materials, handles disposal, provides protection for the lab (and saved Walt's ass), and does all the distribution. Before, they were selling him meth. Now they are just hired labor.

It seems as though Walt is doing 40 hours 9-5. 12 weeks x 40hrs = 480 hrs. At $1.5MM, that's $3125/hr.

Walt's reaction to Jesse's *****ing was funny-"you are a millionaire and you're complaining about it?"

The revenue may be $96 Mill, but there's lots of overhead associated with that business. It's obvious Gus has well-connected people on the payroll all over the place. He has hitmen in his pocket that are being paid well enough to take out the Mexican drug cartel, and that ain't cheap. You know he has DEA guys on the payroll. He has high-level distributers coordinating entire regions, mid-level distributors working below them , and the dealers actually dealing the drugs. All of these guys are getting paid. He probably has cops on the take in several communities across the southwest USA. He has to buy the ingredients, too, which means many more high-placed people are on the payroll so he can get away with buying that much stuff without raising any red flags.

Even in legit companies with half a billion bucks in revenue per year, nobody makes more than $500K per month except maybe 1 or 2 guys. And I'm going to guess that Walter and Jesse are nowhere near the top 2 guys of the operation.

and don't forget the liability involved. Since Jesse and Walt are so far hidden in the whole operation, they have very little to worry about as long as they take care of their personal money issues.

ALSO..my prediction (in a later season): Hank will fully recover and will become Walt's "clean up" guy when Walt takes over as the king pin.

Nope. Anyone that thinks that has never worked for a company before would never think that. See the logic posted above.

I think Walt losing his mind and control of the car along empty highway stretches seem to be repetitive! Are they trying to imply that he has few suicidal tendencies given his different predicaments?

Not good at all. Gus isn't selling blue meth in ABQ. It's not going to take a rocket scientist to figure out how this happens.

i cringe at the thought of this. i actually Jesse and them get stopped before they can start peddling it.
AggieOO
How long do you want to ignore this user?
actually, when Steven showed Hank the new map of where the blue crystal was showing up, he mentioned that it was even showing up in ABQ. or did i hear that wrong?
The D
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I would think Gus would be distributing the meth in ABQ. The map looked like meth was all around ABQ, and if it wasnt showing up there it might bring suspicion that ABQ was where the meth was coming from.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I think you're both right.

And I think Jesse is on a path to get himself and Walt killed.

I think the fired lab assistant is going to come back in play, possibly as the one who blows the lid off the entire operation.

Although it's hard to believe that Pollo wouldn't have a handle on that, either with a hefty pay off or elimination.

I finally realized where I knew the lab assistant from. He was one of the newspaper guys in Season 5 of The Wire.
pvsherwood03
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I was very surprised that Gus would allow Walt to scrap the old assistant and replace him with Jesse. So much liability. That guy could f*** up the whole operation with stunning ease if he wanted to.

I don't like the whole walt as a gambler story line...it seems too far fetched to me, and also walt shouldnt have told marie and skylar that he had winnings in the 7 figures. I know he wanted to impress skylar, but still.

Jesse is still an idiot.

And also wouldnt it be ironic if hank became addicted to his pain meds?
Sling Blade
How long do you want to ignore this user?
he just needed to justify how he paid for the treatment from his surgery and still have left over to pay for everything else.
