this show just keeps getting better

My money's on Gus tipping off Hank. Ditto on the realism. Hank finding the single bullet seemed un-Breaking Badish. It was something I'd expect out of a cheesy CSI rerun. Then the twins, badass killers who favor using an ax, all of a sudden decide they need to wear kevlar?

well the twins dont usually pull hits on DEA agents. they know what he was capable of. he took out their cousin Glock vs M-16.

Hank is a f***ing badass (even though i can't stand him sometimes). I seriously might have gotten a little emo if they had offed him.

i wouldn't be surprised if it was Saul's clean-up man who made the call.

i was thinking the cleaner, too.

I'm thinking it was the cartel guy who met with Gus and Don Salamanca to talk about killing Walt a few episodes ago. He knows that if something happens to the brothers, Salamanca will try to take out Gus so he (cartel guy whose name I don't remember) can take over Gus's territory.

but that's me overthinking things... it's probably Gus or the cleaner

and how would saul have known about the hit? gus just met with the twins out in BFE and gave them the go-ahead for the hit on hank. what makes us think that saul/the cleaner or walt knew anything about it?

on any note, this was quite possible the best episode of Breaking Bad ever.

I'm pretty sure they replay them throughout the week. Last night alone it was on at 9, 10, and 12.

I wouldn't be shocked if it were on hulu too.

my brother ripped seasons 1 and 2 and i had recorded all of season 3 from the marathon they ran. finally caught up yesterday. watched 25 episodes in about a week and a half i believe.

I don't think they expected Hank to also prefer the ax as a weapon of choice.

It had to have been someone working for Gus. Gus is the only one who knows that the twins were after Hank. Probably the guy that works for Gus and Saul.

I think it was the cleaner who called. He is the link between the chicken man and saul/walt, he sees the whole picture.

Well I guess that solves the twins problem. Looks like sir Pollo has a lot of resources behind him.

The twin dragging his stumps across the hospital floor was crazy.

Jesse dicking off in the lab was funny to watch, particularly when he was trying to stick the vaccum vent near his crotch.

The chicken man is one bad dude.

I also think the clean-up guy is equally as bad.

Great scene with the cousin and his nubs.

i have been pleased with literally every episode of this show. i dont know if i could say that about any other shows. i do agree that last week's show was completely awesome though.

Yeah, this was a slower episode but still very good.

I wonder if Skyler is going to put together that Walt had something to do with Hank beating up Jesse? If he mentions that someone got his phone number and knew his wife's name, Skyler might figure out that Walt and Jesse are in cahoots. Then all bets are off.

I almost hope that she says that she will tell on him to the cops just so Walt or the Chicken man will have her killed. I'm pretty sick of her.

Just don't get all the hate for Skyler. She finds out her husband is a meth dealer after he had been sneaking around for a year. Her reaction doesn't seem over the top at all.

And then she finds out the reason why he's doing it is to set his family up for life after his cancer. That may not excuse his actions and you can't blame her for taking the moral high ground. But then to revenge schlep her boss, who is also a criminal, makes her a hypocrite

Oh I completely understand her character's stance, its just I'm not as entertained by her. I want to see Walt out cooking meth and getting into adventures with Jesse, not watching his wife guilt trip him constantly. They've done that a lot already, and it was compelling and necessary, but I'm ready for that plot line to move on.

Basically, while you can hope for a happy ending in which he gets his family back and gets out of the meth business, it'll never happen because the show would be over. So unless Skyler suddenly has a change of heart and thinks cooking meth is cool, she will only hinder Walt from cooking. And that's what makes the show interesting. So I'm ready to see them kill her off somehow.
