It's been a great season! Still one of the best shows on television.

The episode where Saracen's dad died...wow what a tough episode to get through. Powerful episode. Very heart-wrenching.

Scott Porter is screen testing for Captain America, and from this list, may actually get it. He is by far the best choice they are looking at.

quote:
About seven actors have moved to the front of the super soldier serum testing line and have either tested or are expected to screen test this week and next at Marvel's Manhattan Beach headquarters.

Those known to be on the list with Krasinski include Michael Cassidy (who appeared in"Smallvile" and who tested for the Superman movie when McG was going to direct it), Patrick Flueger (one of the stars of "The 4400" who most recently appeared in the Tobey Maguire movie "Brothers" ), Scott Porter (TV's "Friday Night Lights" ) and Mike Vogel ("Cloverfield" ).

Chace Crawford is also in talks to screen test, though no deal has been made.

Uverse guy came by the house today with a very tempting offer- cheaper bill and $200. FNL is the only reason to keep DTV. Called them, and they more than beat the offer. Trying to decide whether it was worth giving up $200+ just to catch FNL a few months early was a tough call...glad I didn't have to make it.

Landry will not be appearing full time next season. They are trying to get him for a couple of episodes, but it will depend on the actor's schedule. As much as I've enjoyed Lance, it's definitely time to move on from the character.

Ha, FOX is already trying to recruit Kyle Chandler to star in a new series this spring executive produced by Steven Spielberg and head writer Brannon Braga (24, the FlashForward pilot, but not subsequent episodes).

If they can get that deal sealed up, there will be no hope regardless of ratings. Good for Kyle though.

You guys watching it in the Spring should start your own thread.

Just watched episode 4 (The Son). That was easily the best episode to date for the whole series.

Two more Friday Night Lights all-stars are headed back to Dillon for the show’s probable endgame: Sources confirm to me exclusively that Adrianne Palicki (Tyra) and Taylor Kitsch (Tim) have finalized deals to appear in multiple episodes of the drama’s fifth and likely final season (slated to premiere on DirecTV next fall).

I’m told Palicki will guest in next season’s last two episodes, while Kitsch has signed on for the final four.

The news follows my earlier scoop that another original Panther, Zach Gilford (Matt), is returning for four episodes (including the finale). Gilford’s onscreen BFF, Jesse Plemons, is also in talks to appear in the swan song. And last but certainly not least, Scott Porter’s coming back for episode 7, but that’s old news.
