My sister is a lesbian and life was sweet but then her girlfriend came out as a transgender man. The problem is her husband - let's call him Andy - passes as a man (on the east coast) [In east Texas she's a dyke with short hair]. When Andy passes as a man Andy is happy because he feels that at his core he "is" a man. The problem is that when people see them together they assume they are seeing a straight couple and this bothers my sister. She, being very effeminate anyway, is now passing as a straight woman when seen with her man. She senses she has lost her queer identity. What's a girl to do?

Thrice divorced cousin just got engaged. Fourth time's a charm? She had to ditch the last boyfriend because it turned out he was a criminal (I guess the neck tattoos didn't tip her off).

40 year old, alcoholic little brother who lives at home with my parents just got a job after not working since he got his most recent DWI a year ago. I wish he would go to AA but, you can't force somebody to get help if they don't want it.
