Strip
Once that strip gets to about 2 inches thick, it can easily slide to number 2.

I was a ribeye guy until my doctor told me I was going to die due to high cholesterol and that I needed to cut back on the fatty meats (FIFY protected). I started ordering the strip and came to enjoy them.
Also, while Ken Bull was VP-Cattle Procurement at Cargill, he visited our AGEC 340 class. I asked what his favorite cut was and he answered NY Strip. I figure between his last name and his job title, he should know.
