Played against the wife tonight and forgot her TIE Bomber had a proton bomb and she destroyed my Wedge piloted XWing and damaged my falcon when I cut in behind it.

Bombs are an interesting meta to try and exploit. Can be devastating if the player is a really good pilot, but it's tough if you get an ordnance-laden ship burned early without dropping its payload.

Update. Wife bought me the Imperial Raider, Corellian Corvette, Decimator, and an extra TIE as a surprise bday gift. Not sure about epic play but I'll definitely need a bigger table.

Nice! I'm waiting on the Wave VIII stuff to arrive before ordering the huge ships other than the Raider, which I already have. I swore I wouldn't buy huge ships. Then again, I swore I wouldn't buy large ships for a while, too.

Y'all have some weird names for your "play time"! You should ALWAYS remember the proton bomb when you pilot your falcon around behind her bomber...that bomb can do serious damage to your aircraft if you're not careful during role play! Try playing with instead of against next time!!

Also, have you gotten into the Scum side at all? They look interesting but haven't really researched them yet.
Fun Fact: I played a 200 pt. match a while back where I lost everyone without killing a single ship. Didn't even think that was mathematically possible.
