This thread has become very entertaining.

Thanks, Rock!

Not sure I understand what is entertaining about it.

Furthermore, "whey protein" is a popular supplement. I wouldn't personally classify it as an anabolic steroid but it has the same dangers. It is very bad for your liver and kidneys so avoid it if you can even though it isn't a steroid.

Girls like to feel little. Which is why an out of shape 6' 4" guy stands a better chance than a guy that is 5' 6" regardless of his body type. Or so I've been told. Granted those are extreme examples, and a 5' 11" ripped dude would be preferred over both, but it is whatever. Being 6' 4" alone gets me in the door with 95% of women out there, so I'm happy.

Allstar, I'm not an attention hoar, I don't fish for compliments. I'm passionate about health and fitness. I have a good body, but I'm not a meat head, nor am I the ****** who dates himself. I actually hate them just as much as the olds, but they stereotype.

Obliged diehard. I merely meant others like to attack you on your fitness posts because of previous clashes you've engaged in. You're no more an attention whoore than the rest of us posting here.

AgAllStar I forgot to tell you this. Since you are on the lightweight side you may be tempted by things such as anabolic steroids like creatine, however do not give into these easy routes. They are only cheating you and hurting your body in the long run.

Ya I would never touch that stuff. Just not smart. Diehard, I hope your lol comment about rock's post doesn't mean you have tried steroids.

Now I know you're trolling. No one who works out seriously is that retarded.

People who work out but don't take steroids are retarded?

No thanks sir. I work hard for the body I have and do it naturally. No cheating like protein and creatine for me.

Vander, how is he trolling? Steroids are bad. It's that simple. I'm not familiar with creative but I'm assuming it's some type of steroid

ya'll cant be serious, right? creatine is not a anabolic steroid. Anabolic steroids are synthetic versions of the male hormone testosterone. Creatine is not, and if you think it is you are a moron.

And Whey protein is not bad for you. Just consume it within your daily needs. If you workout then you need more...otherwise it CAN be dangerous situation is unsafe for anyone with PRE-EXISITING kidney problems, such as diabetes or renal disease.

I'd rather be an idiot and not take a steroid than a smart guy taking a steroid.

I guess everyone will do different things with their bodies and I can respect that.

Creatine is in meat, it's in our bodies. There are no known side effects beyond mild dehydration. It doesn't allow you to lift more, it just allows you to lift longer when you do.

Whey Protein is fantastic because it can be quite difficult to hit the 1 gram protein per lb of weight limit without it.

As for steroids themselves, I've used though I took pills rather than shooting myself up. I gained 15 lbs of muscle in about a month and a half with it but it gave me the worst fatigue I have ever experienced. All I wanted to do while I was taking them is sleep all day. I don't recommend any pills because it's hard on your liver and it would be really difficult to work a full time job during a cycle.

If you are smart and do your own research supplements can help immensely. You should never buy and take anything without doing research because you can really mess yourself up. This is why people died from Ephedra and steroids.

Hmm ya after a quick google search on creatine, rock seems to be misguided about creatine. It's not a steroid and while it looks like it has its cons, it looks to be alright if used safely. But that's just from 5 min of reading. As for whey protein, you should be safe there rock. No expert here, but I'm sure you can easily incorporate it into your diet for some extra protein

I just find the story that a girl hears you bench 305#s and then goes to the gym with you and watches you do it. And then of course has mental orgasms over it is hilarious.

I rarely see couples at the gym. To think a girl gets up and goes to the gym just to witness the circus of a 145# dude bench 305#s... And then what - alright I showed you, lets go to my room now? I just can't get over it haha.

Anyways. Most girls I know like the image of big more than the actual acquiring of big.

In fact, the natural response to physical attraction is for a guy to try to make himself look bigger and a girl try to make herself look smaller. Not talk about how much you weigh or how much you bench haha

Considering they are both idiots and know virtually nothing about working out properly, I wouldn't be surprised.

I am not AgAllStar, I was born in 92 not 91. We are the same age though it seems, unless he is class of '91 instead of being born in 91.

I am a member of the bodybuilding.com forums so I consider myself very knowledgable and they all say creatine is a steroid and protein powder is bad for you.

I appreciate you guys research and input but I'll take what professionals say over some non-pros.

It's just typically at the small weight room at my apartment complex. As for the rest, the girls aren't impressed with my size, that doesn't change after they watch a lift, they are impressed with my mind strength.

I unfortunately can't really bench anymore, my shoulders are going bad. I can still dumbbell bench press but not barbell bench press though.

Vander, not rock. I've been around much longer and would never make all those game threads.

And who says I'm an idiot when it comes to working out? I'm simply learning and appreciate all the advice. I have a natural gift for it but I know I still have a lot to learn

When you both are giving absolutely terrible advice to the point of it being outright harmful, I have to believe you are both trolling.

I'm sorry Allstar... This mind strength thing... it's just a funny way to put it.

Like don't take offense to this or anything, but I am curious what your major is? What defines mind strength to you?

Gordo, maybe strong mental state is a better way to put it. As for my major, it is finance at the moment. I repeat, at the moment.

Dublin, haha very funny. I guess gordo has pointed out how dumb that sounds

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/creatine.html

Considering that they sell, advocate the use of, and publish comparison charts for creatine supplements, I think they're staunchly in the "RockSynonym is an Idiot and Creatine is Awesome" camp.

a few years ago, Vander was telling Texags about this awesome new supplement that had the effects of steroids but wasn't one. He was hyping it all up as a super supplement with no side effects and how safe it was, blah blah blah

about 3 months later the FDA banned it.
