Today, one of my employees vehicles was towed after they legally parked to come to work. After her shift was over, she discovered that her vehicle was missing. We called A1 and sure enough, her vehicle had been towed. When we told them that it was our employees vehicle, they told us that in order to get her vehicle back, she must drive out to the lot (on Hwy 21) and pay the fee ($118) and then contest it the next day in an effort to get a refund. They would not admit to making a mistake and would adamently deny my requests to bring the vehicle back so that my employee could go home. IMO, this was just not right. Why should my employee (who did nothing wrong by parking legally) be punished by having to do this when the towing company clearly made the mistake.

The fact of the matter is, a lot of what our owners do is stupid in our (drivers) eyes but we like our jobs so we stick through it.

We legally towed a car and the OP is upset because we won't give it back free.

I do in fact have another screen name that I use for "me".

From what I gathered your manager, a girl, called first. Heather stated that there were a few rude things said but I'm not going to say there were. He said, she said. Whatever was said had heather pretty upset.

I was also told over the phone yesterday that every other tenant except us provided a list to A1 for their employees. I know this to be FALSE. After getting off the phone with your company I visited with IHOP GM & J&C Exchange manager and neither of them had EVER provided you with a "list". In fact when I told them that I knew for a fact that not everyone provided a list to A1, Heather asked me who else didn't and i told her that IHOP did not. When she asked how I knew this, I replied that I knew GM and I had just this week visited with their Director of Facilities just this week about the towing issues. (He was concerned because they had received a complaint from some of their customers that were towed by A1). This is at the point when she groaned and hung up on me.
