I think he was hit in the mask just earlier and a buckle broke or dislodged. He wanted to stop play because of safety but the refs may not have noticed.
Ok. Thats what I thought it was. I walked out and back into the room when commentators just finished talking about it but missed what it was. They said the officials don't have to call it but I didn't know what "it" was.
It didn't look like he complained about his mask very much when his team had the breakaway going the other way.

1st period was some of the more fun hockey I've watched us play this year. Think the tally was 16 hits in 1st, and a fair amount of big ones. Felt criminal going into intermission tied at 0.
Mikko goal was unbelievable, was lucky to be sitting on Hellebuyck's left side for it so seeing it trickle in was great.
Jake played one of his best games, imo. His OT save had the place rocking.
Harley giving Deja Vu from playoffs with OT winner was icing on the cake.
Like the little run we're on. Get one more on Wednesday and get ready for 12 days of best on best before the last push. LFG.
