Man, I feel so sad for that kid right now but I truly hope that this ownership can put together a first class front office as well as as a first class coaching staff that can make changes. There is some young talent that needs to be built around and some of the highest paid players need to go. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

Just kills me that Guri could go from leading the team in scoring a couple of years ago and was such a weapon on the right side of the power play to not able to get on the ice. This series shows that hard nosed hockey and responsible defensively can win a few games, you need a handful of guys who offensively scare the crap out of the other team

Yeah definitely want to know more about that. Also, gurianov needs to get his crap figured out in the off season.
Glendening is another guy that could have made a huge difference tonight if it weren't for Scarface and his cheap shot.

Going to be tough to get too much offense in free agency since we'll have to fill Klingberg's spot...and that ain't going to be cheap. Hopefully Nill has something up his sleeve and some young guys are ready to step up.

To my above post, the Stars were successful in the bubble because the D-corp had a couple of guys not afraid to activate to help drive the offense. The Stars were so scared of the Flames' counter attack that Miro never started to get involved offensively until Game 6. Might have made a difference in Game 1 and Game 5
It's not just the defense though. It's the entire Bowness philosophy. I can't tell you how many times guys (forwards) should have pursued loose pucks but instead peeled back to get in the "correct" defensive posture. It may keep you in some games, but it sucks the life out of the offense.
