I guess ESPN has exclusive rights to tonight's game? Appears I may be able to watch through hulu. FYI in case you have it.

Not a fan of the play-by-play or color people, but I think I really like how loud the on-ice mics are. The sticks/boards/players are all very audible. Kind of sounds like you're in the arena.

Not from the angle I saw. Unless I'm wrong, Kneeing has to be clear intent to hit knee to knee. Either by manipulating your body or sticking your knee out. Hakinpaa's knee was directly under his shoulder when he went for the hit and did not stick it out. I don't think that should be kneeing.

Don't necessarily disagree with that.

I think Doughty moved over and really it didn't look like Hakanpaa stuck his knee out that far. Honestly it looked like Hakanpaa was trying to hold up a bit.

I think it was more just an unfortunate incident and not as intentional as they are making it out to be.

I agree that he didn't stick his knee out and certainly didn't look intentional. I was just meaning in today's game, that is going to be called 100% of the time. In the past extending the leg was usually required, but they're really trying to eliminate knee-on-knee hits.
