Klingberg is great, and I'd prefer to keep him. But this team has young guys to pay and will have to re-tool soon as Pavs, Rads, etc. start coming off the books. They can't afford another huge contract right now, with Benn and Seguin's contracts. If they did that, this team would be pretty mediocre to bad for at least the next few years.

Can't blame Klingberg at all for wanting what he and his agent think he's worth, but the writing has been on the wall for a while now that the Stars probably can't keep him without a hometown discount and/or a short term deal (which we now know they're not getting). Nill has now given Klinger and his agent permission to talk to other teams, so he'll probably be gone before the trade deadline.

Anytime I see Bennington my blood still boils over him skating to the bench and slashing our goalie during a stoppage in play. No suspension. I freaking hate the blues.

My wife was going ballistic and is still in a bad mood. I somehow fell asleep during the second intermission and woke up to her yelling at the tv.

It was probably a good thing I fell asleep, as I'm sure there would have been a broken remote if I had been awake for it.
