I watched the first period and they looked like the better team without question. I feel asleep and what a meltdown. Oh well, at least Vegas lost.

These guys really don't want to make the playoffs do they? (Obviously they do, but it's frustrating to watch.)

That last possession time the Oilers had near the end was nuts. Tons of time and great passing in our zone. At the one point they had closed us in all around our net. If they would have turned it over they had no one back to stop us.
Stream finally got up right when we drew the penalty. We seemed to play pretty well after that. When it came on, we were down 12-3 in shots

3 games in a row where the Stars haven't played all that well. It's tough with a back to back with the Flames tomorrow.
Offense has been terrible for a good stretch now, but the defense is starting to slide too.
Need to get home and beat up the teams currently out of the playoff picture.

I think the combination of an aging roster and the condensed schedule has caught up to us.
Peaking at this point in the season is usually a great sign for the playoffs. This feels like the complete opposite of that. Hopefully the guys can scratch their way in. I'd love some playoff hockey, but I'm fearing that it'll only be a small taste and not a very good one at that.

The past two games have not been kind to us, but before that we were on a pretty good tear going 10-3-2 over the past 15 games. We're lucky in the fact that after tonight every game we have left is against an opponent who has a worse record than us. While every game Nashville has left is against a team with a better record than them.
It's gonna come down to the game against Vegas. Win and we will be in the playoffs.

I don't know how I missed it, but wish I had been listening to Razor's podcast throughout the season. I used to regularly listen to his Rinky Dinking podcast back before Covid. It's under a different name now, but pretty much the same format.

Are Stars games no longer played on the dfw local tv stations? Way back in my way they were but I see now most are listed as ESPN+.
Is it on locally, fox or nbc or something?

Either Bally Sports Southwest or ESPN+.. once in a blue moon it'd be on NBC sports

This is the first game this season I can remember that wasn't on Bally's or one of the ESPN owned networks.
