Should be. And if Nill doesn't have the stones to do it, he should be fired too. Really, he should probably be fired anyway. He got WAY too much credit for his days in Detroit, and while he's made some good moves his overall body of work has left us with this pathetic mess.

IMO, Benn and Seguin should have been gone 4 season ago. Whoever has been allowing them to stay on the roster needs to be fired and then publicly shamed.

Rough week. I love Bowness and want him to be successful, but we need to shake something up.
This upcoming roadtrip should be the killshot on this season. Hopefully we will trade who we can and start the rebuild. We have lots of kids in Austin who can play a half a season and see what they got.
He's been my favorite player for a while but he needs to go now if they aren't going to sign him. He looks like a player who can't concentrate because of his impending status.

Bowness has no real offensive philosophy. Honestly, he doesn't even look like he wants to be the head coach anymore.
Nothing but empty cliches. Unfortunately I think he's staying the rest of the season. If Tuesday doesn't warrant firing then nothing will.

After the game the other night he insisted that it's not his structure that's the problem but the players' execution. Maybe you're "structure" is lousy, Bones.
Unless they turn this arround NOW (unlikely, since they're sticking with Bowness), they'll need to trade Klinger and Pavs to stock up on prospects and draft picks. May be the best move regardless. Might as well get what you can for expiring contracts and fully embrace the impending youth movement.
An offensive minded coach with Robertson, Roope, Gurry, Miro, and trade pieces could set this team up to at least stay competitive for a while. This weird setup of holding the youth back with aging players on bad contracts, with youth sprinkled in and Bowness as head coach won't cut it. This team, from GM on down, has no idea what their identity is. Time to move on.

Someone needs to tell our skaters that the puck should go INSIDE the pipes, not off them. And our goalies should keep pucks OUT of the net.
