I strongly disagree with The Hockey Guy's take on this too. Paraphrasing: "take care of business and kill off the penalty and you don't give the refs a chance to influence the outcome."

Well I say leading by 1 on the road against one of the best teams in the leagie on the second game of a b2b and the third game in 3.5 days IS taking care of business!

The jerseys made in Canada are always pricey. It's what the players actually wear unlike the $230 Indonesian made jerseys they claim as authentic and sell retail. MIC are generally only sold through the teams.

I bought 4 last year, all authentics. started with blank victory green with cup patch for $135, found a winter classic Bishop for $170 so I bought two and sold one for $260, a blank alt for $110, and Roope reverse retro for $120. Just writing that makes me crazy thinking how much I spent. If I had known, I would've bought two today and easily been able to pay for itself selling one soon. Once it hit Reddit and Facebook groups it was over.

The fight strap comes on the Indonesians as well. The MiC jerseys are better material, don't fan at the bottom, better material and stitching.

I've got a few jerseys, but I didn't buy any of them - all gifts from the wife and/or kids. No Fanatics. But it doesn't really matter to me - I'm not a jersey guy, so I only wear them when I go to games with my son. My son, otoh, has a collection, and he wears them skiing and other occasions.

I only own hockey jerseys and only wear them to games. My wife still makes fun of me since I'm a grown man. I have no idea why I am cool with hockey but you'd never catch me wearing one at any other time or sport.

I've got 10 (9 of which are Stars jerseys). Was hoping to add a Finnish Roope Olympic jersey this year. Oh well...

Late to the party on this one, but would agree that blaming the refs is generally a bad take. However, when an obvious no-call followed by a delayed penalty followed by two goals, i.e. direct and immediate impacts, stemming from the no-call in the final minute of a game you dominated, it's hard if not impossible to not point at the refs and curse or tip your hat if you are a blues fan. Yes we should of scored on our PP, but we were still in position to win until bad officiating took it away. Glad to see the boys shake it off and get back in the win column last night.

Also, was unaware this forum existed. Been a Stars fan for 25 years, and I'm excited to find some Aggies to interact with here.

Welcome to the board! A lot of great, knowledgeable hockey fans here.

I agree about not normally complaining about officiating but that was the rare case where the blown calls directly changed the outcome of the game and it should not have happened IMO.
