4-6 seed in the playoffs with an easier division this year. That's what I'm expecting at least. Get in the playoffs and who knows what happens. Hopefully get hot at the right time

So far yall have some low expectations. I , for one, expect to be a top 3 seed if we stay healthy. They have the horses to be the best team in the league.

Planning on going to game on the 29th. Bringing my dad with me, he's never been to an NHL game (probably about 20 years since he's been to a hockey game, back when Houston still had the Aeros).

Where would people recommend sitting for the best overall experience? I usually sit in the lower rows of 317-319 because I like seeing everything develop and get to see the Stars shoot twice.

I always liked sitting up high, but last year during the pandemic I sat two rows from the glass. It would be a great experience for a first timer, in my opinion.

If you can find glass seats, do it. I've been to hundreds and hundreds of games all over the arena but sitting on the glass is just something different.

I've really enjoyed the NHL coverage on ESPN and TNT the first couple of nights. They had a great segment on the NHL on ESPN intro theme with the composer and an orchestra playing it. Brought back so many memories from the Stars' 99 Cup run.

ETA: Found it



Tonight they had Charles Barkley and Wayne Gretzky talking about hockey. It was really cool. Apparently Barkley is a pretty big hockey fan.

The only thing I miss is Kathryn Tappen *sigh*

Robertson is injured and didn't make the trip. Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come. This team can't afford a lot of significant injuries. Hopefully Robo will be good to go soon.

With Robertson out, looks like we'll see the return of the Benn-Seguin-Radulov line. Hotlby in net tonight. Ready to get a "normal" season started!
