After a near Pb in the pole vault, Lindon Victor is in 8th headed to the morning events of Javelin and the 1500. Victor should move into the top 5/6 after the javelin but slide back to top 8 after the 1500. A great showing from Victor!

So which of the multitude of stations and times is the last of the heptathlon?
For the first time in Olympic history, the U.S. gets zero golds from the men's 100m, 200m, 400m, 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles. It did get silver in four of those five events, though.

Sad to see Centro miss the 1500 final and shot to defend his Rio gold.

What a show from Annie Kunz. Nobody outside of Aggieland would have predicted Annie to be an Olympian. She could have easily given up this grueling sport after injuries, after not even being sponsored, but she showed that Aggie Spirit and never wavered. 3 months ago she was 400 points from even getting the Olympic Standard but a magical Olympic Trials led her to Tokyo. She didn't have the best competition in Tokyo, but she poured her heart into that track and gave it her all. I know we wanted her on the medal stand, but she represented us proudly and we should all celebrate, appreciate, and cherish what Annie has done!
