Lyles should have been running anchor. Baker screwed up the hand-off, but Gillespie lost even more ground. If Lyles was in we would have qualified.

Agreed. I do not understand why we run multiple guys in this race. Get set on a group of four, maybe a 5th for an injury issue, and stick with that group, and practice them only.

Bromell underperformed in the 100m, and continued his pity party in the relay. Never heard of the anchor, but he was terrible as well.

Terrible evening for US track fans. That relay was an absolute embarrassment. Gillespie had no business being on that squad and Bromell is obviously hurt. It was apparent that Kerley to Baker exchange hadn't been practiced enough.

If you watched the prelims you know we ain't winning the 400. I'll be surprised if we medal tbh.

After that performance and interview, I think step 1 to fixing our relay woes may be finding 4 guys that aren't mentally ******ed
