I've been searching for an official explanation and not seeing anything yet.

But twitter seems to indicate that the official lined her up wrong. Apparently the official lined up 2 others wrong in the next heat as well and it was corrected seconds before the exchange but obviously didn't get corrected in race for the US.

Seems weird but makes me happy for our relay team.

Isaiah Jewitt didn't finish in the top 3 in his 800 heat. That little ***** pushed an injured Brazier out of his spot by taking everyone out so damn fast in the trials only to fail to get out of round 1

How did he push Brazier out of 'his' spot? Is there a certain way you are supposed to go out at the Trials?

I said it in jest. He earned his spot in the Olympics fair in square. I do think that had he not gone out as fast as he did at the Trials that Brazier even with the stress fracture makes it through.

I also haven't forgiven squeaky for winning the NCAAs over Brandon Miller

I'm watching the 100m prelims and can't help but wish Devon Achane was there. He would probably outperform a lot of these, although I guess many of these early hears are not top performers.
