Nope the US can use for on the 4x400! But most likely it'll only be for the final so it'll be after her 800 races! I hope she anchors!!!!

Mixed gender 4x400 starting up now, Deadmon anchoring for USA. He will most likely have the lead at the baton and cruise into the final
Not sure on official split but Deadmon got the stick in 2nd and close sky followed behind but at the 200 mark blew everyone away and easily crossed the finish line with the lead! Charokee Young and Jamaica up next!

Charokee Young and Jamaica get 3rd in their heat and advance to the finals. She got the baton in 5th and was well behind first but moved up to 4th and closed the gap to first. Weird not seeing her run down everyone like she does in maroon and white but still a great leg
It's things like that that make me nervous for Mu. I don't think anyone had a time within 4 seconds of the Americans. Then we don't even get to final. Some bad juju going around

When I went to NBCSN they showed 800 heat 2 of 5 but on USA network. Mu just ambled to first
but won. She only had to finish in top 3 to advance.
Looks like USA is the Track network.
I apologize if anyone missed Mu due to the NBC lie.
I was fortunately able to watch it. Honestly, I thought at one point she was going to be okay finishing second and then in the last 125 she was like "nah" I think I'll go ahead and win this one just to be safe. I know there is a lot of strategy in the 800M, but I personally don't like when the first 400-450 is that slow. I think if Mu pushes the pace she's got the training/endurance/speed to outkick them all. I worry about the outcome at a slower pace. But, what do I know. She seems to win at any pace.

She'll win at any pace, but it always seems like at a slower pace something goes wrong - tangling of legs, a push, clipping of the feet/lose a shoe, etc. Right now, that seems to be the only thing that can stop her.aggiedrjdub said:

What was the logic for the reinstatement? Looked clear to me that she lined up really far in the zone and ran out of it early.
