Locked in a Saturday afternoon pitchers' duel with South Carolina's Emma Friedel, Sydney Lessentine allowed just one run on three hits as the 11th-ranked Aggies drew even with the No. 24 Gamecocks, 2-1. Sunday's rubber match in Columbia is set for 12 p.m. CT.
Comeback bid falls short as A&M's nine-game heater ends
