Texas A&M left-handed pitcher Ryan Prager has announced he will return to Aggieland for the 2025 season despite being drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the third round of the 2024 MLB Draft. A second-team All-SEC pick, Prager was 9-1 with a 2.95 ERA in 2024.

An all-time Texas A&M legend, senior left-handed pitcher Evan Aschenbeck was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 13th round, 392nd overall, in the 2024 MLB Draft. For a brilliant 2024 campaign, Aschenbeck was named the NCBWA's National Stopper of the Year.
