The Aggies entered the SEC Tournament last week needed to win at least one game to make a Regional. They proceeded to go 3-1 and earn a spot in the Austin Regional, where they will have a chance to play the Longhorns if both teams take care of business in game one.

Texas A&M earned its third win of the 2018 SEC Baseball Tournament on Thursday, besting Auburn and All-American pitcher Casey Mize. Aggie starter John Doxakis carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning in the win.

Stephen Kolek was dominant for seven innings on Thursday, but Ole Miss scored three runs against the Aggies bullpen to record a comeback victory. A&M left 12 baserunners on base on the night, including the bases loaded with less than two outs in the eighth.

The Aggies dropped last weekend's series to Auburn, but they won the Sunday game and handily defeated Rice on Tuesday to build some momentum coming into this weekend's home series against No. 5 Ole Miss.
