If you have Spotify and can watch/listen to this podcast, Rogan destroys this guy at the 56 minute mark.

Gupta states earlier in the podcast that he feels confident that, after being vaccinated, he is protected from the virus. He's in his early fifties.

Around the 56 minute mark, Rogan states that many parents feel confident that their children will be fine if they get the virus and have less risk than Gupta does getting a breakthrough case. Rogan then asks him why it's okay for him to say that he feels confident that he will be okay, but it's not okay for parents to say the same about their children being okay if they contract the virus. Gupta tries to deflect, but Rogan won't let him avoid the question. Gupta finally ends up admitting it's a fair question.

I can't help but roll me eyes at Rogan every single time he leads his interviews back to that he does jiu-jitsu or in this case how he can't seem to understand that being healthy and being vaccinated don't have to be either/or (I 100% agree with how we should be pushing healthy lifestyle over everything else and that we purposely avoid doing so -- but continually acting like if everyone starts doing pushups today it will somehow beat this virus isn't exactly making a solid case either).

But man, Gupta... Talk about a guy who if you didn't already take everything he said with a big grain of salt because of the network he was on, after listening to this it's tough to take a single thing he says seriously.

I thought it was cool to watch two personalities who clearly disagree with each other manage to have a civil disagreement and discuss it for 3 hours.

I thought it was telling that Gupta mentioned his own echo chamber in terms of audience early in the pod when discussing why he came on.

When you see both sides arguing something like this you realize the right answer generally lies somewhere in the middle.

While not team Ivermectin personally I thought it was interesting when they discussed CNN mocking Rogan for taking horse de-wormer when he was taking a prescribed, human dose of the drug vs. say something he got at Tractor Supply. Clearly agenda driven on CNN's part and would have liked to see that discussion anchor more on the echo chamber aspect of playing up to that networks' mob vs. playing to another network's mob.

He doesn't mention jiu-jitsu, and he clearly doesn't argue that working out will keep people from getting Covid. If that is how you received his argument, you weren't listening. Pretty obvious you have negative bias regarding Joe and going to assume things that aren't there.

Joe does say that people who are fit and live a healthy lifestyle (diet and exercise), they may be better off at fighting the virus. That's not an opinion but a fact.

And i find it amusing that many liberal minded people not familiar with him assume he's an ape because he watches MMA and advocates for pot and psychedelics, and then he runs circles around them in these exchanges.

That and Rogan's willingness to learn and to be convinced based on information are a huge reason for his success.

I was pretty unfamiliar with his comedy, let alone his podcast, until a few years ago. I knew him as the UFC commentator and guy on the criminally underrated "News Radio" show (RIP Phil Hartman) but hearing his standup and then getting into his podcasts and how he really asks people open ended questions and then lets them run with it is amazing.

My Dr prescribed me Ivermectin In Jan when I had COVID and when I mentioned this to my brother (who is conservative and lives in a rural area), he was surprised since he's only known of it as a de-wormer that he sees at Tractor Supply. Not just a media thing. I had never heard of it.

Sure. I do think there is a distinct difference between you - someone experiencing long COVID without a clear understanding of what is happening and when/if there will be a treatment - And someone saying "I won't get vaccinated because I'll just take ivermectin if I catch COVID".

For you, because there is no real clear path and I kinda feel like you should do what makes you feel normal. For the anti-vaxer that thinks running to tractor supply is the best way to deal with COVID, that's a very real problem.

Of course 90% at least of the "massive new wave of deaths " are unvaccinated, and even the ones that are have significant comorbidities.

This happened to me the other day. He said, "you took a horse dewormer?" I had to correct him and tell him that my doctor prescribed me Ivermectin.

It's absolutely nuts that this has become the narrative.

When you blatantly lie about ivermectin, you are part of the problem. Ivermectin is a ssafe medicine for HUMANS and animals. It has anti-viral properties and kicks covid's ass when taken properly. You lie about it so easily, you might be a member of the media or the CDC.

You probably know these facts about ivermectin already, yet you still choose to lie and call it sheep medicine. That's why you and Fauci and all the other proven liars are not trustted by many many people.

Ivermectin works against covid. Millions of people have used it successfully. The vaccinated in Israel and UK probably wish they'd gotten on an ivermectin protocol like me. If they're still alive.

I don't believe you and your anecdotes.

Instead, i choose to believe these doctors who are on the front lines fighting covid and have nothing to gain from lying, unlike Big Pharma who is making billions from the "vaccines".

Aggie class of 90. Ivermectin works better than this unproven vaccine, based on the link I supplied. People die and it sucks. Millions of people could have been saved from covid death if told the truth about ivermectin.

If people you know died of covid and ivermectin didn't work for them, my condolences. Maybe they didn't take it early enough, and as covid vaccine proponents like to say, nothing is 100% effective.

The people in power pushing vaccine mandates have lied since the beginning about all things covid, including ivermectin. I don't trust them and never will, they are proven liars.

I offered my condolences and concede that ivermectin is not 100% effective. I believe ivermectin is more effective than the vaccines and much safer, that's why i use it.

It sucks when loved ones pass. I truly am sorry for your loss.

From my own personal situation with long haul covid symptoms and the vaccine. The vaccine made my long haul symptoms 10 times worse, with daily dizzy spells and covid symptoms. Whenever I take Ivermectin, I feel better within 30 minutes. Its literally the only medicine Ive taken that completely relieves my symptoms.

I will vouch for ivermectin over the vaccine any day of the week.
