I think most are assuming at this point the # of breakthrough cases is going under-reported, but the key is breakthrough cases that wind up in hospitalization.
Helps with herd immunity if we have more cases that are minor.tysker said:
The number of breakthrough cases should be alarming no?
How many of these positive covid cases were once simple colds or allergies that we all dealt with from time to time but now are testing for covid? If covid is never going away and vaccines only slow transmission for a period of time, what are the next steps?
Of which there seem to be very few. I wish this data was more accessible.Proposition Joe said:

My suggestion (too late now) is to not attempt to exercise at all or do any yard work, etc. during a suspected Covid bout. I learned the hard way - thought I was feeling fine minus the minor symptoms, did extensive yard work and winded up get my arse kicked in the next day. Felt like crap for a couple days after that - the fatigue is no joke!
Partial masking is pretty useless, obviously!KlinkerAg11 said:
Kind of.
Most my students wear masks, and I wear a mask when I sit down and help the students or bend over to help them.
When I'm at the front talking I'll take it off, so not really masked well on my part. But my students are like 80 percent masked.

Chill dude. This is like May 2020 advice. Everyone knows.CondensedFoggyAggie said:
Get a pulse oximeter at your local CVS/Walgreens and constantly check your blood oxygen levels.
Many don't feel out of breath even when their blood oxygen levels plunge to beneath 90. At which point you SHOULD be going to the ER.
It's critical to get early intervention if your blood oxygen levels are low.

Agree with this. Some people are going to get COVID-19 due to elevated virus exposure. Happens to healthcare workers taking care of these patients too. No prevention method (PPE or vaccine) is 100% going to keep you from being inoculated when you're exposed to so many viral particles. And some of those that are inoculated are going to go on and have infections.bay fan said:
Jesus Gac, it's not that surprising that a school nurse likely seeing Covid positive kid after Covid positive kid all day long got Covid even while wearing a mask.

You probably Won't be sick for more than 3 to 4 days .. the entire county of India did that and guess what.. they are kicking Covids ass
These vaccines don't work .. except they help spread the disease faster per Isreal scientific researchers.. 27 times faster spread if you got your vax !
If you want proof.. read up on India and how they have kicked Covids ass .. it's all over Twitter and the internet ..
That is extremely creepy! Maybe Dexter level creepy.....Quote:
