I think that's it for 2028. I understand there are lots of pitchers in the 2029 class. So we go with what we have and if we need a pitcher we will get one in the portal.

There are 3 pitchers in our 2027 class, and four pitchers (including Azua, Peters, Lessentine) have at least one more year of eligibility after 2027 season.

Open admission. Same rules (clear bag policy) but check if there will be concessions - varies. If no concessions you can bring outside food.

Texas will be pretty full, others not.

The texas game will have a men's basketball game at the same time. So parking at Reed or Tennis will not be free. It will likely keep the crowd down a bit but still pretty full.

Looks like they moved tomorrow's fall opener to 9:30am with rain forecast later in the day.

I also noticed the first 3 games are scheduled to be 10 inning games

We have three in 2027 class, two have a shot at being something truly special. A shot is all you have coming out of high school, it's really tough to know even if they have "the stuff".

There were two top pitchers with identical portal scores this year. We got one of them, after she also visited tu. The other went to Tech.

Utah, Oklahoma, and Florida for the HS recruits. Azua was a great addition. I am just curious why we can't land the EK Smith's and Madi Doty's of Texas? I hope this isn't coming off as a criticism of our recruiting, because its not. You don't necessarily have to lock down your in-state recruiting but I do think its beneficial and helps to build recruiting momentum.

Not quite. Saw her consistently in 66-68. Given the scrimmage setting, think they're working on pitches and positions. Peter's hung one and gave up a 2-run homer. Then she proceeded to strike out the next four batters. So you like to see that kind of response. Feel like that happened to Peters and Lessentine a lot last szn!
