Is that first Fall matchup with "Murray State College" on September 30:

a) the Murray St. that is a D1 program out of Kentucky or
b) the Murray St. that is a juco out of Oklahoma?

It is possible that we have some DSA(designated student athletes) that we would never know about that could allow us to go over the limit. Any player on the roster at the time the limits were imposed could be designated. Also possible there has been some attrition we are not yet aware of. Seems we have lost at least one each of the past falls.

Howday Ag's!

I did this yesterday morning, so it is a bit dated but curious of this thread's thoughts.

Going into the 3rd weekend of visits, the number of commitments feels low. Went and counted the following from the Rivals 150 list.

1 thru 20 = 11
21 thru 50 = 18
51 thru 80 = 20
81 thru 110 = 19
111 thru 150 = 23

That's 91 of 150 or 60.7% that don't show a commitment.

Also did a bit of sleuthing and come to find out that Caelyn Campos, OF #3 overall, is a High School teammate of Emma Johnson (recent commit). Wonder if Caelyn is connected to Coaches tweet last night.

Yes. That seems to be the majority position most folks have taken with the new 5 in 5 rule. Getting off to a great start with Emma. Land Annie, that will be two 5 stars. A couple of big bats and things will be shaping up.

Annie Shelton (visiting this weekend) is the overall #5 and #2 pitcher in the class. Regan Eldred (visited 9/05) is #14 overall and #5 pitcher in the class. If you believe in star rating, both are 5 stars. I'll take them both but only draw back is both are right handers. Will be interesting to see how things play out.

Not just the 5 on 5 - we have 15 new faces this year, a large 2027 class, and most of the roster has multiple years of eligibility remaining.

3-4 commitments sounds about right.

We are in agreement. 7 commits from the class of 2026 & 7 from 2027. Most of the transfers (have completed 3 years) will be here until 2028). Will be interesting to say the least.

Not saying you aren't correct but Coaches tweet went out at 6:40 PM on Friday. Not sure when "Jae" (think that is what she goes by) arrived on Friday. If she steeped foot on campus and committed, WOW!!!

Know the staff isn't close to being done. That makes two and expect another 2-3. Pretty exciting times.
