This is a myth. You need swing and miss stuff and ability to locate. Our problem was most of our guys didn't have swing and miss stuff and they didn't consistently locate, particularly with 2 strikes. Dudes from USC who shut us down were not throwing 93+.

I'll even go farther and say it was consistency. We've all been screaming about the number of 0-2 or 1-2 cement mixer sliders that Sdao & Moss would hang over the middle of the plate.

I know there is time left but I'm not impressed by our pitching portal additions. I was hoping to grab without a doubt sec starters. It seems we have picked up guys that we are hoping we can develop.
