Well, it looks like the others were clear upgrades and told us no. Vaughn is the obvious rebuttal but the discussion point was is he really an upgrade? Depends on what you label as an upgrade. Vaughn is not in the same ballpark as the other two.

I wasn't against Vaughn - let me make that clear. But once the decision was made I understood (and one major factor was the gatekeepers to the elite kids thought 1 year wasn't enough). Before any conspiracy breaks out these select ball coaches don't have it out for A&M. They obviously like Earley. If you thought he could be a head coach by hiring him then give him the runway to do it. I don't think he'll get more than this year if it goes south or next.
