I'm less than half your age and I agree. I'd rather rip off the bandaid and move on from this era than sink the program deeper by spending another year in purgatory. Playing the long game, this team won't go anywhere with this "coaching."

Big Belly Kelly couldnt even be bothered to step over the spit sunflower shells to call in the bullpen call, or speak to his pitcher.

He must have been waiting for his brisket nachos to be delivered; best case. Worst case is that he was completely asleep all game.

Apparently not. It is becoming painfully obvious that Schloss was in charge of the hitting and offense. Earley was brought in to recruit and given the title of hitting coach. This offensive approach resembles nothing of the 2022-2024 lineups.

Oh I am VERY well aware that they lost every single SEC game aside from the three against us. I bring that up as Exhibit A in my arguments against Earley. There's no becoming painfully obvious about it. He was the good cop. The player's buddy. We knew that from the jump. The question was could he handle a high level d1 program at this point in his career. I thought the answer was loud and clear last year but apparently it either wasn't or the money wasn't there to admit a mistake.

I don't think it would be worse, I think most high school coaches could do better. We again seem poorly prepared in every phase of the game.

We are bad at all 3 phases of the game. There's not even one I see that Earley is competent at making solid. And in the SEC you need to be solid in a minimum of 2 and hopefully 3.
