Rare that a game goes by where Ben M. doesn't have LSU basketball stories to tell. I know it's a 16-5 game (i.e. stretching to find conversation topics), but he's just insufferable.
But what is happening is guys are standing in the box and putting their elbows and arms in the strike zone. And not moving.Who?mikejones! said:dermdoc said:I was shocked someone had more than Kentucky. They need to change that rule back to where the batter has to make an attempt to avoid getting hit.Lady Aravis said:dermdoc said:
Coastal leads the nation in hit by pitch. 169.
With Kentucky a very close second, I assume?
No way.
If a battery is leaning over the plate, sure, he has to get out of the way.
If the pitch is in the box, then no, that's on the pitcher. Don't reward him for such a bad throw.
If it happens in that few inches between the chalk and the plate, then maybe it's appropriate thay the batter must attempt to get out the way. Good luck enforcing it

Can't do it. Sorry.LB12Diamond said:

You are the kiss of death today. You need to state, Go Hogs!!

You call it Strike and then they stop doing it.dermdoc said:But what is happening is guys are standing in the box and putting their elbows and arms in the strike zone. How is it that Tom Hart still doesn't know the rule about the pitcher having to make eye contact with hit batter before starting his delivery?

Damn. Back to Omaha with a 1st year HC too. Happy for the Chants.
I wasn't super impressed with Auburn this year either. A lot like sip. They kept winning games but left you wondering "how?" I'm surprised they made it to this weekend tbhphatty26 said:
Auburn wasn't that good and had the benefit of an easier schedule. Coastal is very good they have a better pitching staff.
After we lost to Mizzou I was pretty sure we were not good. Does that count?LB12Diamond said:
Always love when posts are made saying they thought a team was not good after they lost.
Oh, the old hindsight is 20-20 brag post.
Would have been bad if they were still clueless when Omaha rolled around.AgRyan04 said:
Hooray! They figured it out!
what did we figure out? What are we talking about? I'm on the road.twk said:Would have been bad if they were still clueless when Omaha rolled around.AgRyan04 said:
